The Ghost Archives: Haunting of Shady Valley is a hidden object game filled with numerous challenges which brings an engaging storyline. You play as a young S.O.U.L. (Spiritual Organization of Unsettled Lives) detective who travels to an abandoned mining town.
The objective is to help several ghosts find their peace by solving various puzzles. The first scene from the game shows you, the main character, riding a bus to the spooky town. All of the sudden, a scary looking ghost appears in front of you (it scared me to death as I was inspecting the scene and wasn't expecting for this to happen).
On your journey you will have a ghost guide called Norman Macabre whose goal is to protect you. The app also features a Hint option and an integrated Strategy Guide which come in handy when you're stuck on a certain location.
Another advantage is that you can create as many player profiles as you want to. In addition, the app automatically saves your progress every time you move to another location, collect a clue or solve a riddle.
