Geekbench is a useful program that usually comes in handy whenever you need to check the performance of your Mac or upgrade it by adding new components. The results can be verified online on the homepage of the developer or on the interface of the application.

This application accurately measures the performance of the memory and of all the processor cores within your Mac. It's also very easy-to-use: just click the "Run Benchmarks" button and wait for the program to scan your device. Once the scanning process is complete, you can compare your score with the ones from homepage of the developer and check the performance status of your Mac.

Additionally, if you create a personal account on Geekbench's webpage, you can store all scan results and find out if there was a real performance improvement after you upgraded your Mac.

If I have to summarize, Geekbench is a great addition to my collection of programs. The information offered by this application proved to be of good use and considering its small price, it's safe to say it was worth acquiring it.
