SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a vector image file that's defined in an XML text file and supports animation and interactivity.
This program comes with a straightforward, customizable interface. You can choose the preferred background color, enable Dark mode if necessary (displays a black background image behind the SVG photo), show canvas outline, etc.
The utility can be used for viewing, converting, and printing SVG files on your Mac. All you need to do is to import the image from your local directories, choose the task you wish to complete, and wait for the results. In my testing, the program worked flawlessly while completing all 3 of the aforementioned tasks.
In addition, the application provides you with a quick and simple solution for opening the imported SVG image in your default SVG editor. You can choose your default SVG editor from the Preferences panel of the program.
All in all, I'd say you should give Gapplin a try if you're looking for an easy way to open and convert SVG files on your Mac.
Pros
- Lets you choose between multiple view modes
- Allows you to print images from its main window
- You can export SVG images as PNG, TIFF, or PDF files
