Furry Freak is a very nice arcade game for the Mac. In this game, you control Furry Freak and your objective is to run as fast as you can for as long as you can.
As you progress through the level, it will get more complicated, and the obstacles will start moving. I saw spiders, rolling rocks and bee hives when I played the game in the easy mode. When you collide with an obstacle or land on one, you will get stuck there and you have to use a very helpful and at times vital gameplay element: time rewinding. You can use this to go back in time and do things differently to avoid the obstacles. To use time rewinding, you need to collect little clocks that fill up a bar at the top of the screen. When the bar reaches zore, you need to pay attention and avoid obstacles, because you won't be able to go back in time anymore.
There are three difficulty modes and the easy one includes a tutorial that explains how the game is played.
The level design is exquisite. The backgrounds are hand-drawn. The character models for Furry Freak and the obstacles are very detailed and great-looking.
In conclusion, the game plays quite well and it is a lot of fun. The graphics are great, time rewinding is a great feature and the sound effects are nice.
