Fun Booth 1.0

Fun Booth is a nice app that lets you take funny pictures with your webcam. The application looks and works like Photo Booth, the integrated webcam app by Apple. It shows your web camera and you can take pictures and save them as image files on your Mac or you can record video files. But, the fun thing about Fun Booth is that you can add effects to the video. More accurately, you can add effects to yourself. The application recognizes your head and its features. Thus, it knows where your eyes are, where your face starts, where your nose is, etc. On a separate window, you will see a list of all the effects that can be applied to. For example, you can add masks to the image. You simply click on the mask that you like and it will be put on top of your face. Thanks to head tracking, the image will follow your face wherever you move it. The effects usually shake and move a bit, but that is easy to understand. If you stay really still, the effect is well done and almost believable. The effects (called props by the app) available are masks, eyes, facial hear, hats, and some miscellaneous props. You can add your own props if you want.
