Free Megavideo Downloader for Mac is a free video downloader. It was designed to let you download videos from Megavideo's video sharing website. With this download you can simply copy a URL from the address bar on your browser and then go to the application and click on "Paste URL". When you do this, the app will automatically check the URL and add the video to your download queue. There is a button that reads "Customize download mode", which can be off or on. If it is on, a new window will come up every time you add a new video, asking you about the quality of the video that you want to download, and where you want to save the file. If it is off, the video will be added using the default settings.
The graphical user interface used by this app is identical to other downloaders by iOrgsoft and other developers, and it is quite nice. I like that it isn't overly complicated and works well.
As you may know, Megavideo is owned by Megaupload, and the service has been taken down pending an investigation for piracy. Thus, Megavideo isn't available for the moment until a verdict is made. This means that the application won't work for now.
In short, if Megavideo ever resumes operations, this application will let you download videos from the website quite easily, and for free.
