Folx GO+ is intended to manage and accelerate your download tasks. Since it does not look too different from other download managers, there is practically nothing new to learn provided you have had previous experiences with them. It shows all tasks, which you can pause or resume (if the source server allows it). Similarly, it is possible to filter tasks according to their status: active, paused, scheduled and completed. What is more, you can use custom tags to identify them much easier.
To start a new task, you just need to enter the desired download link. Moreover, it integrates seamlessly with various web browsers, including Safari, Firefox, Opera and Chrome via add-ons. Luckily, you have the chance to create various tasks by picking the desired links and it even supports grabbing all of them by default.
Some other convenient features are not so visible, like the possibility of splitting downloads into up to 10 threads, with an impact on speed. However, if downloading at great speeds interferes with your work, you can set limits. Fortunately, there is a scheduler that allows controlling speed at given hours or waiting for a specific time to start transferring data. It is also good that the tool supports connecting through a proxy and using authentication for those sites that require it. Finally, media contents can be automatically added to your iTunes library. more
