Folder Factory is a handy application that lets you enhance the appearance of folder icons. The tool allows you to replace the dull look of your icons with fresh and stylish designs that will spotlight your favourite folders in a crowded working environment.

The interface won't impress you too much – it is plain simple and easy to use, with all its features clearly displayed on the main window. The procedure to enhance a folder’s appearance is simple and organized into several steps. First, you need drag and drop your folder into the application. Once the folder is loaded, you have the chance to adjust its colour intensity and opacity level, as well as change the default background of your icon with your favourite colour. In addition, you can attach pictures and write text messages in the folder. Similar to the background customization, the image you append can be adjusted in terms of colour intensity and opacity. Furthermore, you can control the image position within the icon. The text you insert can be optimized in terms of font colour, style, and size. Optionally, the text may include emoticons selectable from the “Characters” menu.
