For instance, instead of fussing with pencilling marks on the back of the E-6B to compute wind correction angles, you simply drag the hands around a compass rose, with a hand each for wind direction and true course. Other features include:
- Fuel analysis, with mixed units (How far will 3 liters of fuel take me if I burn 8.1 gallons per hour?)
- Speed and distance calculations, with mixed units (If I fly at 75 mph for 23 minutes, how many nautical miles will I fly?)
- Temperature conversions (What is the Fahrenheit equivalent of 24C?)
- Density altitude calculations
