Etcher 1.1

Etcher is a Mac utility that provides you with a simple way to burn disk image files to your SD cards or USB drives. The application brings you easy-to-configure settings, has a nicely-designed interface, and comes without a price tag.

All you need to do in order to use this program is to import a disk image file from your local directories (you can also drag-and-drop the disk image file over the app's interface), choose the destination drive, and click the "Flash!" button. The utility supports disk image formats like DMG, ISO, ZIP, BZ2, DSK, and many others.

Unfortunately, you might have to wait a while for the app to begin the entire process. Still, the program immediately burns the imported file within moments (in my testing, it reached the speed of 8MB/s), without slowing down your Mac in the process.

Other than that, there's nothing bad that can be said about this application. It completes any given task without encountering any errors.

To sum things up, I'd say it's worth installing this program on your Mac. It's effective, simple to handle, and you got nothing to lose if you decide to give it a shot on your computer.
