ePic is a Mac application that lets you create slideshows with images from your photo collections. The program works with various image formats, lets you preview images from Flickr or your local directories and allows you to watch your photo presentations in fullscreen or windowed mode.
You can import images from your local folders: Google+ account, iPhoto app, 500px or Flickr website. After the pictures are loaded within the main screen of the program, you can click the Play button and preview the images. The program lets you choose the preferred transition duration and effect for the slideshow.
Also, in the Menu Bar you will find an ePic icon which gives you quick access to an option to set the current slideshow as a screensaver.
Even though on the homepage of the developer it is said that this program lets you create slideshows, I can't find an option to export the projects. Furthermore, the screenshots from the homepage of the developer don't show any actual photos of export options. You can only share the photo presentation via Facebook or Twitter and set it as a screensaver.
So, if you're looking for a slideshow creator I'd suggest you try a different program. You can find dozens of slideshow creators on the Web, that are free of charge or cheap and provide you with plenty of output settings and work with numerous image formats.
