Enolsoft PDF Converter has a very descriptive name. As you have probably guessed, this tool is intended to convert PDF documents to other formats. Moreover, it has the advantage of applying optical character recognition if it is demanded.
The application has a minimalistic interface. In fact, most of the operations can be done without ever leaving the main window. Fortunately, it also supports processing a batch of documents in a single session. The tool allows importing images and scanned PDF documents from Finder and by drag-and-drop operations. Yet, it is a shame that it cannot import such common document formats as DOC and RTF.
When you import source files, you can pick one of the 16 target formats available, which include PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, RTF, HTML, ePUB, Pages, Keynote as well as various picture formats. Luckily, you can select the page range to convert as well. Likewise, you can decide whether to apply OCR or not, and in case you do, it is possible to select specific page regions and one of the 27 supported languages. Its ability to detect tables and convert them to other formats without making a mess of the included data is remarkable. Another advantage of the tool is that it can bypass password-based restrictions.
All in all, Enolsoft PDF Converter can help you convert PDFs and images to various formats without much effort. Regrettably, unlike many other similar tools, this is not the kind of tool you can use to convert various types of documents into PDF. The product is shareware and perhaps you would like to give it a try.
