Enolsoft iMedia Converter is a very complete suite of video conversion tools. It combines a video and audio converter and a DVD ripper in a single package. These tools can be used to convert video so that you can add it to iTunes and then to devices that sync through iTunes, such as the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. The newest models, including the iPad Mini, are supported, which tells you a lot of how frequently the application is updated to support new devices. Most video converters are released and then only sporadically updated.

Enolsoft iMedia Converter wins extra points for its originality. These days most converters have almost identical graphical user interfaces and similar features. This conversion utility sports a nice-looking GUI that is quite simple and practical. There is a toolbar at the bottom that lets you add videos or DVD movies and to access the video editing features. On the right, you will find the conversion settings. There is a menu that lets you choose the format or conversion profile. There are tons of profiles available, neatly organized for mobile phones, Apple devices, Apple software, and even YouTube. I like that the menu doesn't react to the movement of the mouse. In some other applications, when you move your mouse over the menu, the categories change without clicking anywhere. This can be annoying because you should move your mouse extra slowly. With Enolsoft iMedia Converter, you click on the items of the menu to access them, which guarantees that they will stay where they are until you click somewhere else. This is very practical.

In short, Enolsoft iMedia Converter is a very complete video converter which is a result of very good design decisions. It works well, and it is a joy to use.
