Info updated on:

Easy Explore is a file browser designed for users who wish to have access to more features than the ones that Finder, Mac’s default tool for managing files, has to offer. This feature-rich utility provides you with various view modes, lets you browse your directories by using your arrow keys and Backspace button, and comes with a comprehensive help guide.

The program might prove to be of good use to people who switched from a Windows PC to a Mac and need a file manager that resembles the Windows Explorer application. The main window of the tool is divided into 3 panes: on the left side you will find the directories from your hard drive, the bottom-left pane will show you the connected storage devices and your partitions, and the rest of the screen will display the contents of the folder you explore.

You can use various hotkeys to browse your directories, open multiple Easy Explore windows, drag-and-drop files between panes, and much more. The app was error-free in my testing and used a very small chunk from my CPU resources.

Furthermore, it provides you with support for photo preview, a feature that comes in handy when browsing picture folders.

To conclude, I think it's worth installing this free file manager on your Mac. It's filled with plenty of useful features, comes with a user-friendly interface, and works flawlessly.
