EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard is a program developed for Mac users who wish to restore files that were deleted by accident or lost due to damaged or formatting drives. You can work with this application to recover data from your computer, Mac-based hard drives, digital cameras or USB sticks.
The utility can retrieve files of various formats, lets you choose between two scan modes, and brings you an integrated search tool to find the file you wish to recover within the results list. Furthermore, you can import scan results from previous recovery sessions and restore documents (without the need to rescan the entire drive all over again).
Once the scanning process is completed, the app displays a list containing all lost files that were found with EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard on the selected drive. You can preview them and then decide which ones to restore to your local directories.
In my opinion, the app brings several disadvantages. For instance, the app takes a while to find lost files when choosing the deep scan mode (it took an hour to scan a 120GB drive) and uses many CPU resources in the process. Another thing I don't like is that it doesn't allow you to scan individual folders, you can only select entire drives.
To conclude, I'd say it's worth acquiring this recovery tool only if the aforementioned flaws don't mean much to you. Otherwise, you should look for other data restoring programs that offer you all the features you could require.
