Think this may have been been caused by Apple's foul-up with security certificate expiry dates. Anyway it has stopped working and the link to the UK app store also doesn't work. I am on OSX 10.6.8, is there any way I can get it working again?

The compatibility of the application has changed. This was caused by an update applied and released on the market. Based on the new information, you can't install the application on OSX 10.6.8 anymore. The minimum version of OSX is OS X 10.7 or later while using a 64-bit processor. There is no 32bit support or Snow Leopard. In this form, installation is practically impossible, unless you upgrade to a newer OSX version.
