Dragand is a free application designed for Mac. This program provides you with a simple and quick alternative to using your default browser to find and download subtitles for your favorite TV shows.

Dragand features an intuitive interface, supports drag-and-drop action, and helps you find subtitles written in over 40 languages.

All you need to do in order to work with this app is drag-and-drop the video over its interface. The program immediately searches a subtitle file based on your selections in Preferences panel (chosen language) and saves it, if available, in the home folder of the loaded video. If there's no subtitle available for the clip, the app displays a notification on its main window.

This program can download only SRT files. Hence, file formats like SUB or TXT are not supported. However, the SRT format is supported by a wide variety of media players, so this shouldn't be an issue.

In my testing, the application worked flawlessly. It immediately found and downloaded subtitles for three different TV shows and didn't run slowly while fetching the files.
