Disk Order is a feature-rich dual pane file manager for Mac that comes as an alternative to handling folders and documents with Finder (Mac's default file manager).
Even though it offers so many built-in features, the program comes with a well-structured and intuitive interface so even Mac users with little computer experience can handle it. You can select the proper icon and text size, sort the files if necessary, swap panels, etc.
I also like that you can use this program to transfer data via FTP, manage files within an iPod that's being connected to your Mac, and batch rename documents.
Furthermore, Disk Order provides you with the ability to handle archives like plain folders (hence, without extracting their contents). This feature helps you save plenty of time when you only wish to preview the contents of an archive.
Briefly, Disk Order proves to be a reliable solution when it comes to managing files and folders on your Mac. The application offers dozens of useful features, is simple to use, and comes with an affordable cost.
