A simple way to create free space on your hard disk or USB stick is to find and remove duplicate files. Decloner is an easy-to-use program that provides you with a solution for this task by identifying and deleting all images, PDF files or videos that are duplicates.
This application lets you select multiple folders and photo libraries to prepare for the duplicate scanning process, ignores files from scan that are smaller than a certain size, and can find duplicates for various file formats. A good thing about using Decloner is that it also brings you an additional Trash tool where you can store the deleted duplicates in case you change your mind later on and want to restore them.
Decloner lets you know the exact amount of free space you are about to create by deleting the duplicates and allows you to preview the scan results before sending them to Trash. Anyway, one of the most important advantages of working with this program is the fact that it automatically selects the duplicate files from the result list that should be deleted.
Briefly, Decloner proves to be a smart addition to my collection of applications as it immediately finds and removes all duplicate files from my Mac and USB drives. Plus, the price is affordable; therefore, I can't find any reason why you shouldn't give this application a try.
