Daniusoft DVD to iPad Converter is a commercial DVD ripper. You can use it to convert DVD movies that you want to watch on your iPad. It can convert files into MPEG-4, H.264, and MOV for video, and MP3, AAC, WAV, and M4A for audio. These formats will play well on any Apple device, and should work on other devices as well.
This ripper comes with a few video editing features. You can use the trimmer to select a part of your DVD title (in case you don't want to convert it all), the cropper to reduce the resolution of the resulting file, and the video editor lets you adjust the brightness, contrast, and saturation of your video. You can also apply a few filters and activate deinterlacing.
There is a single conversion profile for the iPad, or you can choose to output video to a specific format and then adjust settings manually.
In my testing, I tried to test as much of the application as possible in one attempt. So, I trimmed and cropped the video, adjusted brightness and selected a subtitle track along with my conversion to the iPad format. The process took a little over 2 minutes for a 1-minute clip. Subtitles worked well, the video was cropped and trimmed as I specified and brightness adjusted.
