CutieMelody is, as its name suggests, a small and cute virtual musical instrument. This application was designed for the kids who wish to have some fun by playing songs to a glockenspiel simulator. A glockenspiel is an instrument similar to a piano.
CutieMelody features an extremely poor interface, so your children won't be able to customize any of its content. The only thing one can do is to resize the screen. On the other hand, its animated content can't be neglected. The keys are multicolored and they become illuminated when they are being pressed. The keys are marked with different letters, which can be very helpful for learning the first part of the alphabet. The animated background will surely be appreciated by the little ones. Another advantage is the fact that CutieMelody supports either a keyboard or a mouse.
Briefly, CutieMelody is a fun and easy way in which the kids can be kept busy, but not for long, because of its lack of features. But, then again, as long as it is freeware, you are welcome to test its features and to decide if this application is what you are looking for.
