Coherence is intended to rap a specific website into a macOS native application. It has an easy-to-use wizard-like interface, so it is very improbable that you have any difficulty to use it, even if it is the first time. In this regard, the wizard can effortlessly take you through the steps in the workflow.

First, you have the opportunity to choose one of the modes available, including Single App, Bulk Creator and Quick Creation. For whichever mode you pick, you will need to provide the intended website’s URL and a name for the app. Besides, you can optionally choose an illustrative icon.

An important step is deciding which browser you want your app to be based on. Regarding this, three different Chromium-based browsers are supported: Google Chrome, Brave and Chrome Canary. You should know that it is necessary that the selected browser is installed on your system. Still, there is no reason to worry, as the tool can help you download and install it. Additionally, you may want to configure your app to work on certain circumstances. For instance, it is possible to pick the desired Chrome extensions as well as import profiles and tweak the settings.

The following step consists in choosing an application type from standard and tabbed. In this respect, a standard app has a single window while the tabbed app is displayed as a full browser window with tabs. This type also supports enabling whitelisting and creating the app as a browser. Finally, you may decide where to save the new app to, which is the Applications folder by default. more
