Cleanbox is a simple utility for aggregating and removing e-mail subscriptions, working on top of your Gmail account.

Note on privacy:
Cleanbox does not send your emails to our servers. (We don't even have servers for that matter!) Everything is done on your computer. It looks at every one of your emails, but only stores subscription emails. And it stores them on your own disk.

Cleanbox Not Much Help
I was hoping for a helpful app but Cleanbox is not it. The inability to find the unsubscribe button is about 5 to 1. Listed on the same screen when it says it cannot find the unsubscribe button is the button. I have to put in my email address manually to unsubscribe which I do within my normal emails so not helpful. Outside of this app, if I need to input my email address, the Mac shows my email in a dropdown box, I click it and it enters it automatically saving the typing. Within this app I have to type the whole email wasting time. On the positive side, if the email comes from a legit company it will unsubscribe it but most of the garbage emails come from wannabe companies which I really need to remove and Cleanbox does little to do that.
A Nice Headstart, and Truly Free
It doesn't do a complete job, and it doesn't do much automatically. But it does simplify things a bunch by making the cleaning way less frustrating and much faster. And it really is free with no upsale angles anywhere, so how can you gripe?
Need to be able to switch mailboxes.
I have only had for a few days, but it does seem to find possible unsubscribe candidates. I would like to be able to point it at a mailbox like SPAM.
