CheckBook Pro is a Mac program that provides you with a simple way to store and keep track of personal finance details.

You can use this utility to learn how well you spend your money, manage your transaction data, schedule payments, and so much more.

In order to store any information, you first need to create an account which will generate a file on your local drive. Everything you alter in your account file it's automatically backed up by the program.

When adding a new item, you need to choose the type of transaction (Deposit, Direct Deposit or Transfer) and its category from a given list (Car Insurance, Dental, Home Mortgage, etc.). If necessary, you can enter a description and attach other details, like important notes.

The stored information can be printed or exported to your local directories directly from the program's interface. What's more, you can sync the data across your iCloud account.

The only thing I personally don't like is the design of the interface. It looks like a Mac program that was created a long time ago. Still, this isn't a big deal since the program does exactly what's being said on the homepage of the product, without slowing down other running Mac tools.

In conclusion, CheckBook Pro might be the solution for you if you're looking for an effective way to keep track of your expenses and incomes from your Mac computer.
