ChatBot is an app that lets you chat with Qwerty, an artificial intelligence. As the name suggests, the app is a chat box, where you can chat in real time with Qwerty.
In my testing, I started by introducing myself and asking some basic questions, to which the bot replied quite well. The usual "How are you?", "What is your name?", etc didn't present any problems to Qwerty, but as the language became more complex, it didn't really know what to reply, and it ended up saying things that didn't make any sense.
ChatBot can tap into the text-to-speech engine on your Mac, and by default, this setting is activated. Thus, Qwerty speaks to you using your Mac's voice.
All in all, this app is an interesting proof of concept. It works mostly well, but it still shows the limitations of the artificial intelligence that powers it.
