Carrier Landings is a flight simulator designed for Mac. The application gives you access to a wide variety of challenges, provides you with realistic physics and graphics, and automatically saves your progress.
After you launch the program on your Mac, a Configuration screen will be displayed on your screen. From there, you can choose the preferred display options and check out the control keys.
In my testing, I checked the first couple of missions from the Career panel. The app offered me plenty of useful instructions and I immediately learned how to control my plane and land it safely in the indicated area.
Unfortunately, the app comes with several flaws. For starters, it occasionally freezes, especially when going through main menu's panels. Another disadvantage is that you need to restart the program in order to alter display settings.
But the thing that bothers me the most is the fact that you need to pay in order to unlock all of its features. You cannot even test the simulator unless you make a payment. At least you can check some of the challenges and put your aircraft skills to the test.
In conclusion, Carrier Landings is a program that comes in handy to aircraft pilots or anyone who is interested in practicing landing skills. I'd say it's worth buying the full version of this app if you plan on using it often.
