Card4Call is intended to help you design your own business cards. In this respect, the tool is very similar to any drawing tool, except that it has a very specific purpose. One of the advantages of the tool is that it automatically arranges the cards according to the paper size. Likewise, you do not need to worry about using the right dimensions, since the cards are set to be 8.5 x 5.5 cm, which is the standard size. However, you will not be allowed to use any other dimensions in case you want to. Unfortunately, however, the help documentation is poor.

The editor is WYSIWYG, which means that any change you make is reflected in real time. Additionally, you can press the Preview button at any moment if you want to see the way your cards would look on paper (10 per sheet). There is a decent set of tools to insert different types of objects, like images, icons and text. Similarly, you can pick the desired background texture. In this respect, it is excellent that there is an impressive built-in collection of more than 2800 icons and 400 textures. Finally, it is possible to apply different effects to both images and text. Once you are done designing your cards, you can easily save them in PDF format.

In general, Card4Call comes with everything it takes to design beautiful business cards. However, it does nothing you cannot do with a general-purpose drawing tool, which may even come with business card templates. The product can be bought from the Mac Store at a very reasonable price.
