It seems that the user is facing an issue with the Carbide Motion program on their Mac while trying to connect with their 3018 Pro machine. Some troubleshooting steps that can be attempted are:

  1. Make sure that the machine is properly connected to the Mac via USB.
  2. Restart both the machine and the Mac.
  3. Ensure that the latest version of Carbide Motion is installed on the Mac.
  4. Double-check if the necessary drivers or firmware updates are required for the 3018 Pro machine.
  5. Try using a different USB cable or port to rule out any physical connectivity issues.
  6. Check if any firewall or security settings on the Mac are blocking the program's connection.
  7. Reach out to the Carbide Motion support team or community forums for further assistance.

It's important to note that the specific cause of the connection issue can vary, so these steps are just general suggestions to troubleshoot the problem.
