Capacitor Lab is an interactive simulation that deals with electricity. More specifically, the concepts illustrate capacitance, charge, stored energy, voltage, and electric field, among a few more general ones.

There are three different simulations.

The first one, under the tab "Introduction", consists of a battery connected to two plates. These act as the capacitors. The point of this simulation is for you to study how the size of the plates and their distance have an impact on the capacitance of the circuit. You can drag and drop on the arrows to move them and resize them. There are a variety of meters that you can use to see what is going on in the circuit. Those are listed on the right part of the screen.

The second simulation, called Dielectric, is basically the same, but a dielectric is added between the plates.

Lastly, the third simulation's name should say it all: Multiple Capacitors. This simulation lets you add up to three extra capacitors in series or in parallel or a 2+1 combination of both of them.

In conclusion, Capacitor Lab is a nice simulation. It illustrates a variety of concepts. Unfortunately, there isn't any help and if you aren't familiar with some of the terms, then you will be lost. Most of the other PheT simulations that I have tried came with help, so I was surprised when I didn't see any here.
