BrowserService is a free Mac OS X service which provides a consistent interface for opening URLs and files in various Mac browsers. URLs and file paths selected in Services-aware applications can be opened in a specified browser or in the default browser with a keyboard shortcut.
What's new in this version:
Initial Release. Known Issues: Error dialogs occasionally appear behind the foremost window. BrowserService cannot be run again until an error dialog is dismissed. BrowserService does not work with Mozilla 1.3 beta BrowserService does not currently respond to the Finder's Services menu. Opera will occasionally fail to open the URL if it is not already open when invoked. Carbon browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Netscape, iCab, Opera) do not yet support services.
