Brorsoft FLV Converter is more than its name implies. This program does not only let you convert your favorite FLV clips to multiple formats, but it also allows you to trim and watermark the input files, extract soundtracks from movies, burn videos to DVDs, and much more.

The utility might prove to be of good use when you wish to transfer FLV files to a media device (mobile phone, tablet, etc.) or launch them within apps that are not compatible with their format. Brorsoft FLV Converter will help you convert the videos to dozens of formats supported by a wide variety of media gadgets (Apple TV, iPhone, PSP, Zune, Xbox 360, etc.) and Mac applications (Final Cut Pro, QuickTime, Avid Media Composer, etc.).

You can also use the integrated video editing options to trim, watermark, and apply visual effects to the input files. This application features a media player that lets you preview the final videos before launching the conversion process.

Unfortunately, the program won't let you choose individual output profiles when batch converting videos. Instead, it will convert all input files to the format you select from the bottom side of the screen.

Personally, if I'd need to acquire a conversion utility, I'd choose one that supports many input and output formats. Brorsoft FLV Converter supports only two input formats (MP4 and FLV) and dozens of output formats. Brorsoft Video Converter provides you with many features, is compatible with a wide variety of media formats, and can be used when converting files with extensions other than MP4 and FLV.
