Description

Battery Overview shows the battery status of all supported Apple devices in a single application. It is located in the status bar, taking up as little space as possible. In the status bar, Battery Overview shows only the lowest percentage of all battery statuses. Of course, in a small space-saving way. By clicking the icon in the status bar, you can see at a glance information about all currently connected devices.

Battery Overview draws the battery icon in front of the battery-powered device in its menu. There is a power plug on the front of the device being charged.

Battery Overview will notify you if one of your devices reaches 10% or less of the remaining battery capacity. For this notification, the macOS notification service is used.

Of course, Battery Overview also contains battery information on the MacBook internal battery.

Supported devices:
- Apple MacBook internal battery
- Apple Mighty Mouse
- Apple Magic Mouse
- Apple Touchpad
- Apple Magic Keyboard
- Apple Magic Mouse 2
- Apple Magic Trackpad
- Apple AirPods (1. Generation)
- Beats Solo 3

Very Useful

The app is very useful. I have a Magic Mouse and a Magic Keyboard and the app continuously displays the lower of the two battery levels. I had a question about whether I would get an alert when a battery level drops below a certain level. The developer responded responded within 24 hours that it would alert at 20%. One thing to note - the screen shots in the App store are a bit confusing. The status is displayed only as a simple rectangle in the status menu on the right side of the menu bar across the top of the Mac. The illustrations show an icon in the Dock across the bottom of the screen. I couldn't get that to appear and I thought the app wasn't working. Apparently that is no longer a feature, but it isn't needed once you see the icon in the status menu.
