Info updated on:

BatchProcessing is a simple, yet efficient photo processor that works as an image editor, renamer, and converter. The ability to manage multiple image files at once represents the program's major asset.

With a straightforward, clear-cut, and highly-intuitive interface, the utility can be easily managed by any user. It opens with a plain window meant to help you import the images you want to deal with. Adding the files is done easily, either by using the handy drag-and-drop function or by browsing for photos from within the application. The Preferences menu allows you to configure the import-related issues, such as including subfolders when selecting main folders and ignoring small files with resolutions inappropriate for photos.

Once the images are loaded, the program offers an overview of the imported items. It informs you about the total amount files loaded and the number of items selected for batch processing. In addition, it lets you preview their content as thumbnails, which can be easily enlarged for a better view by means of a handy slide bar. The program's features are clearly divided into basic and advanced options. The basic mode allows you to resize the images by width, height, and percentage, as well as apply a new resolution to your photos. In addition, it lets you batch-rename images by adding prefixes, suffixes, or by saving the files under completely different names. Furthermore, the tool has the ability to rotate multiple images at once – the task can be done either manually by choosing between left or right orientation, or automatically by taking into account the EXIF data of your photos. If you want to add borders and watermarks to your pictures, then you can switch to the advanced editing mode. This way, you can enhance your photos with borders that support width and color adjustments, as well as personalize selected images with text and image watermarks which are highly customizable in terms of font, style, opacity, size, inclination angle, and position on the image area. Last but not least, you can batch-convert your photos into JPEG files with your preferred image quality, export them to compressed TIFF files, or save them as optimized PNG and BMP image formats.

In short, BatchProcessing is a classic and stable image processor. It provides comprehensive, yet rather common features that will help you manage large photo collections with ease.
