Balancing Act helps you rebalance your investment portfolio. The tool calculates the trades (buy, sell, hold) for each asset (stock, bond, fund, etc.) required to rebalance the portfolio.

The calculation optimizes the tradeoff between trading costs (commissions and taxes) versus exactly balancing the portfolio. All accounts for one household should be included in order to take full advantage of tax calculations.

Interesting app. Looks like something that a new investor can use, while also suited to the experienced investor.The idea of "rebalancing" appears in many financial blogs, but often in a superficial way. This app seems to take care of messy details.
