atosym is a command-line tool to serve as a replacement for atos(1) until Apple makes a version that is compatible with the dSYM debug information format. Basically it calls on GDB, the only tool currently capable of parsing dSYM files, to do the work behind the scenes.
It offers an arch switch for selecting between Intel and PowerPC, and can be used in interactive or non-interactive modes.
Adobe Flash Player Debugger can be very useful for collecting debug information.
