Artboard is a comprehensive application, which enables the user to create and edit vector based graphics and images.
Artboard operates in a very accurate way and provides the necessary means through which the user can design beautiful and impeccable drawings. Besides basic functions, such as drawing, changing colors or applying forms, this tool comes with particular features also, such as Style Inspector, which is useful for creating and editing advanced styles, including gradients or arrows. For those with lack of imagination, Artboard offers a wide variety of templates to work with.

The only problem is the fact that Artboard saves the projects in .art format only. Yet, you can import .jpg, .bmp, .gif, .png, .tif, and .pdf image graphics (static image PDF) and export .tif, .jpg, .png and fully scalable .pdfs. This application supports the drag-and-drop action and it also offers, for the Boolean users, access to complex objects (union, intersect, difference and append). Artboard is a layer-based tool so its operating mode is similar to the one used by Photoshop.

Artboard is an intuitive-to-use, feature-rich and affordable piece of software so, for somebody who is looking for a vector drawing application, it is for sure worth trying.
