AnkiApp is intended for studying different types of content when a lot of memorizing is involved. The application not only lets you create your own decks of flip cards but also download ready-made collections from other websites. Moreover, it allows sharing your decks with other students.
The tool has a nicely designed interface, with a panel on the right to facilitate navigation. The rest of the space is devoted to browsing card collections. The first time you use the application, you need to create an account, that is why an Internet connection is necessary. Fortunately, it comes with a sample set of cards specifically intended to teach you how to use the tool.
When you create a set of cards, you should give it a name, provide a description and identify it with tags. Likewise, you should define what question to put in the front of each card and provide the correct answer in the back. Luckily, you can use not only formatted text but also images and even sound.
Notice that the tool cannot automatically check your answer. In this respect, it is you who need to evaluate your performance by giving yourself a grade in terms of Fail, Hard, Good and Easy. These grades are used by the application to keep track of your progress and prioritize those questions that still require attention. Similarly, you can use other options, such as ignoring specific cards or giving them tags, which you can use for filtering them later. more
