Animals - Connect the Dots and Add Colors is a fun app for children where their objective is to connect series of letters or numbers in the correct order and fill the resulted image with shades. The game has nice drawings, plays a fitting background music, and can easily be handled by kids.

Once you launch the app on your Mac, the game will be displayed in fullscreen mode on your desktop. You cannot access other running programs while Animals - Connect the Dots and Add Colors is launched on your computer. Also, it lacks windowed mode.

An advantage is that you can easily teach your children how to handle this drawing app. The first thing they need to do is select the image they wish to fill with colors. Afterwards, they need to connect several dots (from 1 to X or from A to Z). Once all dots are connected correctly, they can start filling the image with any colors they like.

Unfortunately, this program comes with several disadvantages. For starters, it doesn't feature windowed mode and you cannot access other running apps on your Mac while the Animals - Connect the Dots and Add Colors program is launched. Another flaw is that not all drawings are available for free. You need to make an in-app purchase in order to access all images.

However, you can test the app, see if your kids like it, and then decide if it's worth unlocking all content. In my opinion, it's worth making the necessary in-app purchase.
