Amacsoft PDF Converter for Mac can be used to convert your PDF files to a few other formats. The supported output formats are HTML, JPG, Word, ePUB and TXT.

There are many reasons why someone would want to convert PDF files to those formats. In my case, it would be to convert e-books that are in the PDF format to ePub so that I can load them on my iOS devices. But users who want to distribute PDF files often convert them to JPG or HTML so that the enduser doesn't have to install an application to open the PDF files.

One of the good things about this converter is that it lets you load multiple files and choose different output formats for each one of them. To choose the format, you simply can click on the file first, and then on the desired format at the bottom of the screen. Also, for each file, you can specify whether you want to convert the whole document, a page or a page range. Each one of the listed files will be displayed with information like total pages, selected format, pages selected for conversion and size. When you are ready, you can click on the "Convert" button to start the process.

The trial version has some limitations, but it is still functional enough to let you determine if the application works for you. You can only convert 100 files and of those files only 10 pages will be converted. If the file is shorter than 10 pages, only half of them will be converted.

In my testing, I converted a PDF e-book to ePUB and HTML. The process was very fast and the results were very good. The formatting from the original file was kept in both cases. I could easily read the e-book on my browser after conversion.
