I have changed my computer settings and tried to override, but apple is insisting it is on the part of the developer. I understand there is information on how to bypass this for Sierra and Mavericks, but are these the only versions where it works. I have used AliView with great success on my older 2014 Macbook, but the 2021 one has not worked. Please let me know.

It seems like the person is having trouble opening the AliView application on their Mac with Mac OS Big Sur 11.5.1. They have tried changing their computer settings and overriding, but they believe that Apple is placing the responsibility on the developer. They are wondering if there are specific versions of Mac OS where AliView is compatible and ask for assistance.
