AKVIS OilPaint is an image editor created for Mac users who wish to transform their digital pictures into stunning works of art. This application lets you import a wide variety of image formats, choose from multiple oil painting effects, and print the final pictures directly from its interface.
Like many other tools developed by AKVIS, this application comes with a user-friendly interface and easy-to-configure output settings. The utility supports dozens of image formats, from popular ones like PNG and JPEG to RAW, CRW or PEF. You can import individual files and edit them one at a time or use the built-in Batch Processing tool to load folders containing dozens of photos and choose a single output preset.
AKVIS OilPaint provides you with many output presets and lets you adjust the levels of stroke thickness, intensity, etc. The application updates the preview window each time you apply a new visual effect or configure the output settings.
In my testing, the program immediately created the quality images I needed to alter. My only issue was that the app offers a small list of supported output formats (the Batch Processing tool: JPEG, TIFF, and PNG; JPEG, TIFF, BMP, and PNG when processing a single file at a time).
In conclusion, it's worth buying this image editor if the aforementioned disadvantage doesn't mean much to you.
This photo to painting software lets you create a piece of art from any digital image.
