17.0.2401 (See all)
Enhance digital photos from different sources. Organize the files in a gallery for quick browsing, then process the selected items. Apply the tools accessible in the suite for automated and manual removal of artefacts, sharpness increase, blur and displacement removal, etc.

AKVIS Enhancer can help you tweak photographs to enhance the quality of the image or achieve special results. The tool has an easy-to-use interface, which is very similar to those of other AKVIS products, so, you will not have any difficulty to find your way if you have used any of them before. Most of the window is used for viewing the picture, and you can switch between the Before and After tabs to compare the results.

The program supports various common picture formats, such as JPG, BMP, TIFF and PNG. Moreover, it can also import RAW formats from various camera brands. The enhancements are available from three modes: Improve Detail, Prepress and Tone Correction. If you use the Detail, it will increase detail level by intensifying color transition. Likewise, in Prepress mode, you can increase border sharpness to achieve a better contrast. Finally, the Tone Correction mode is used to enhance those areas that are too light or too dark. While it is possible to use any of them separately, you may want to use a combination of the three modes to achieve better results. In addition, you can tweak other more common picture parameters as brightness, contrast and saturation.

In general, AKVIS Enhancer is an easy tool that uses powerful algorithms to fix defects in your photographs. The only problem with it is that it does not have as many features as other tools.
Thus, it is advisable for beginners and experts alike. The product is available in three licenses Home, Home Deluxe and Business. In addition to standalone form, it can also be installed as a plugin for major picture editing software.
