Aiseesoft Mac iPad Manager Platinum is an iOS management tool. It allows you to transfer content from and to your device.

Unlike the "Standard" version of this app, this one doesn't restrict the types of content that you can import or export. Some of the things that you can transfer are: music, photos, movies, iTunes U content, books, contact information and SMS messages.

There are three extra features in this app. There is a video converter that can encode files using the H.264, MPEG-4 or M4V formats; and it also has support for audio files. There are conversion profiles for the iPod, iPhone and iPad. Additionally, you will also find a DVD ripper that can be used to convert your DVD movies to video files so that you can transfer them to your iPad for playback. Lastly, a simple audio editor lets you create short audio clips out of video or audio files so that you can use them as ringtones on your iOS devices. When you want to transfer a file that is not supported by the iPad, the application will automatically convert it if it can.

I tested this application by transferring content from an iPhone 4 to my Mac. The process was very simple and everything went down smoothly. I copied a few songs very quickly. Then, I imported files into the iPhone. I picked an MKV file. The application warned me that I had to convert the file. I accepted and within 20 seconds the 30-second video file was converted and transferred. Then I grabbed my iPhone and the file was ready for watching.

In conclusion, this is an excellent tool for anyone who uses iOS devices and doesn't think much of the iTunes syncing process. You can even use this app to put content on devices that can't sync with iTunes or from computers that are not authorized to sync with your device.
