Aiseesoft FLAC to MP3 Converter for Mac

Aiseesoft FLAC to MP3 Converter for Mac is a video conversion tool. You can use it to convert your FLAC audio files into MP3 files.

The app can also convert to MP2, WAV and WMA. Input files are not restricted to the FLAC format. In fact, you can open pretty much any video or audio file with this application. If you open a video file, you will be able to play it within the program, but when you convert it to one of the available formats its video track will be discarded. FLAC is a great format because it lets you greatly compress files without losing quality, but iTunes doesn't support this format, so users often tend to convert them to MP3. This converter works like a charm for that task. But once you convert your FLAC files to MP3, you will be losing the aforementioned compression. It would be great if this app supported any other lossless formats, like Apple's own lossless codec.

Graphically, this app looks like any of the other converters released by Aiseesoft. There is a video player on the right and a format selection drop-down menu at the bottom. There is even a video editor that lets you trim your files before conversion.

In my testing, I was able to convert FLAC and MKV files to MP3 without any problems. The process was really fast and the resulting files sounded just fine.
