Aged View Photos

This Mac program was created to help you transform digital pictures into vintage-looking images. Aged View Photos features a user-friendly interface, gives you access to simple to configure output settings, supports drag-and-drop action, and offers you quality images in no time.

All you need to do is to drag-and-drop the image you wish to alter, select the preferred filter and frame, modify the general characteristics if necessary (adjust brightness, contrast, etc.), and export the picture to one of your local folders. The utility comes with a preview window where you can check if the final image matches your expectations.

The filters list is quite large, full of quality effects. Plus, you can choose between 4 frame styles which complete the vintage-looking picture.

However, I wasn't too happy about the fact that you can export the final image to only one output format - JPG. Another disadvantage is that the application supports a small amount of input formats. For instance, you cannot import TIFF, RAW or PSD files.

You can find various image editing tools that provide you with extra filters, work with more photo formats, and don't come with a price tag. Hence, I think you should try a different tool to make your pictures look vintage.
