4Videosoft iPhone 4 Video Converter for Mac is a commercial video converter. This app will come in handy for users of Apple devices such as the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and AppleTV. Those devices have very limited video input format support. In my case, most of the video files that I have on my computer won't play on my iPhone if I don't convert them. This converter lets me convert almost any video file into the H.264, MPEG-4, MOV, M4V, FLV and WebM formats.
To convert a file, all you need to do is click on "Add Video" and select it. You can load multiple files at once and apply different conversion profiles to each one of them. There are instructions on the screen when you first launch the app, so you can't get lost.
The graphical user interface is well designed, and if you have ever used a commercial converter, you will feel right at home. There is a toolbar at the top of the screen from which you can add videos and access the video editor, a space for the files in your conversion queue in the middle, and the conversion settings at the bottom. From here, you can choose one of the many video conversion profiles available for the devices I mentioned above. I like the inclusion of profiles for TV out. Many people, for example, use an iPhone to bring video to a friend's house and play it on the big TV. If you use the "for TV" profile, your videos will look better on the big screen.
