4Media iPod Max is a complete iOS management tool for Mac. It lets you transfer content such as movies, music, playlists, voice memos, books, photos, your camera roll, ringtones, contacts, messages, and even apps and notes.

Most of these can be copied from and to the device. All the types of files that you can move are displayed below your device name on the left pane. When you click on a type, the right pane will be populated with all the files stored on your device. You can simply select the files that you want to transfer and click on one of the transfer buttons. Files can be sent back to a folder on your Mac or to iTunes directly, which saves some time.

Besides letting you transfer content to and from your device, 4Media iPod Max can be used to convert videos and rip DVD movies. In fact, when you try to copy a file to your device and the format isn't supported, the app will automatically convert it to one of the supported formats. There are conversion profiles for pretty every device Apple has released so far with video playing capabilities.
