Unlike the cheaper iOS management apps by 4Media, this one lets you put content on your iPad. There is a video converter and a DVD ripper that help in that task. So if you have a file that is not compatible with the iPad, this app will convert it and then automatically put it on your device. Another interesting thing you can do with 4Media iPad Max is to create and manage photo albums.
When you connect your device, you will see a summary that shows some information about it, along with free and used space.
In my testing, 4Media iPad Max immediately detected my iPad and showed me all its content. I was even able to play my songs directly from the application. Copying content was easy, both to and from the iPad.
All in all, if you don't mind the $59.99 price tag, this is a great piece of software. It helps you to manage your iPad device without having to use iTunes.
