4Media AVI to DVD Converter

4Media AVI to DVD Converter is a DVD authoring utility. It can basically be used to convert your AVI video files and burn them into DVD discs that will play in any DVD player.

You can put one or multiple AVI files into your DVD compilations with this tool. It comes with quite a few different menus that will let you access your files on your DVD files. The menus include different designs with backgrounds, video snapshots and even background music, which you can add by selecting any MP3 or WAV file on your Mac.

AVI is not the only input format that is supported by this app. If your videos are in the MPEG, DAT, DAT, M2V or VOB formats, you can also load them and use them in your compilations.

The graphical user interface is quite great, mainly because it is simple and easy to navigate. The toolbar at the top of the screen lets you access all the important features. The video editor, subtitle options, trimmer and audio editor are all up there. On the right pane, you will find a preview player and the menu selection and configuration buttons.

I like the fact that this application lets you add SRT subtitles to your files. Subtitle support is not a feature that most developers are eager to add to their products, and it is nice to see that this one has it.
