Info updated on:

XQuartz is an open-source tool that embeds important libraries needed by MacOS in order to run X Window based applications. Supported by Apple, XQuartz is the default X11 implementation for most of the users after the 10.8 iteration.

The program can be installed with ease and doesn't require advanced computer skills in order to use its features. The main menu looks rather basic and it's comprised of a few tabs and various preferences. Users are able to select colours for the fullscreen mode, but they can't select a new theme cause there is no such thing.

Other options that the program embeds are the support for pasteboard syncing and some built-in connection security features. More, individuals have the possibility to enable the creation of a new X11 window, while the previous goes into the background.
To allow incoming connections from various network clients, users need to enable the option to authenticate connection.

Overall, XQuartz is a useful open-source program that helps users to run X Window applications on their Mac computers. The memory usage is low, but the interface could've been more stylish.
